From: Didrik Johnck Everest Base Camp Finally after a few gushing nose bleeds, passing out along the trail, violent liquid expulsions from all orifices, rickshaw accidents and two helicopter evacs, the trekkers are going home. The climbers however, are healthy and moving up the mountain at a steady pace. The only real shocker so far has been the monstrous and plentiful crevases at the top of the ice fall, requiring extra time to navigate and a few stratigically placed leaps. |
